Nominations & Elections Committee
The Nominations and Elections Committee, a standing committee of the ANA Membership Assembly, is comprised of seven members Constituent and State Nurses Association (C/SNA) or the Individual Member Division (IMD) elected by the ANA Membership Assembly.

2027 National Elections
The call for nominations for a slate of candidates to be presented to the Membership Assembly in 2027 will be issued in December 2026. Please check back for further details.
The following positions will be open for election in 2027:
ANA Board of Directors
Two (2) Officers:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
Two (2) Directors-At-Large:
- One (1) Director-at-Large
- One (1) Director-at-Large, Recent Graduate
The term of service for all board positions is January 1, 2028 – December 31, 2029.
ANA Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC)
- Two (2) member positions
The term of service for NEC positions is January 1, 2028 – December 31, 2030.
2026 National Elections
June 27, 2026 - View ANA’s Press Release announcing the results of ANA National Elections. Elected individuals will begin their term of service on January 1, 2027.
