THE FILM
The American Nurse explores some of the biggest issues facing America - aging, war, poverty, prisons - through the work and lives of five nurses. THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Proceeds from the film and the 2012 book, The American Nurse, provide annual scholarships for nursing students nationally. Contributions to the Fund match funding available through the American Nurses Association’s state nursing organizations.
THE STUDY GUIDE
This guide was developed by the NYU College of Nursing and the American Nurses Foundation as a tool for nursing faculty, nurse educators, career counselors, and other health care stakeholders. The authors developed a series of learning outcomes for both academic and clinical settings.
