The American Nurse explores some of the biggest issues facing America - aging, war, poverty, prisons - through the work and lives of five nurses. It is a documentary that will change how we think about nurses and how we wrestle with the challenges of healing America. Learn more and purchase your own copy of the film here.

Proceeds from the film and the 2012 book, The American Nurse, provide annual scholarships for nursing students nationally. Contributions to the Fund match funding available through the American Nurses Association’s state nursing organizations.
