Documentation Review Fee

  • Magnet Appraiser Team Leader - $2,500.00
  • Each Magnet Appraiser Team Member - $2,000.00

Additional Documentation Review Fees
This fee only applies when the Appraiser Team requests additional documentation to complete the review of your written documentation and may occur only once in the documentation review process. This applies to new applicants and re-designating Magnet organizations.

  • Magnet Appraiser Team Leader - $1,500.00
  • Each Magnet Appraiser Team Member - $1,000.00

Site Visit Fee

  • Fee per day: $1850 per appraiser/day
  • In addition, all travel, hotel, and per diem expenses for each Magnet appraiser are covered by the applicant.

Change in Submission Date Fee

The date selected (on the application form) by the applicant organization for documentation submission is confirmed once the application is processed by the Magnet Program Office.  The date selected is significant and is considered a reservation for your documentation submission. Specific coordination of scheduled conference calls and communication centers around this date. The date is also used by the Magnet Program Office to assure timely communication about the application phase and to prepare the organization for documentation submission, including selection of the appraisal team.  If at a later time the organization decides to change the documentation submission date (e.g., by either requesting an earlier document submission date or requesting an extension), a fee of $7,500.00 will be assessed.

 

The new submission date can only be selected from the established submission dates indicated on the website: February, April, June, August, or October; first day of the month, unless it falls on a weekend or holiday, then the next available business day applies. The Change in Submission Date requests must be submitted no later than three months prior to the current scheduled documentation submission date.  The Change in Submission Date request is one-time only and will result in a change to your original 48-month timeline.

 

For redesignating organizations:

  • If requesting to change submission date to an earlier cycle, the new date for submission must be within six (6) months of the previously scheduled date
  • A request for an extension can be up to six (6) months from the previously scheduled date

 

For initial applicants:

  • If requesting to change submission date to an earlier cycle, the new date for submission must be within six (6) months of the previously scheduled date

A request for an extension can be up to one year from the previously scheduled date

 

System Fees

Notice: Fees only apply to Magnet-recognized system designations. Please review the Phase Out of System application document for details and contact your Magnet Analyst for more information for your specific organization.

System Application Fees (for systems submitting Written Documentation on or after February 1, 2019)

  • 1-3  hospitals: $5,750
  • 4-6 hospitals: $10,800
  • 7-9 hospitals: $15,800
  • 10+ hospitals: $20,800

 

Change in Submission Date Fee for Systems

  • The change in submission date fee for a system of any size is $10,000.00.

 

System Site Visit Fees (effective February 1, 2019)

  • Fee per day: $1,650 per appraiser/day
  • In addition, all travel, hotel, and per diem expenses for each Magnet appraiser are covered by the applicant
