NCPD New Applicant Workshop - March Series

Let’s learn together! The workshop focuses on developing knowledge and skills to become an ANCC Accredited Provider of nursing continuing professional development.
This newly revised full-day (10 am – 4:30 pm) interactive workshop is for newly accredited providers, eligible organizations who intend to apply, or new Accredited Provider Program Directors/Nurse Planners. The workshop focuses on the fundamentals of accreditation such as: understanding the value of accreditation, developing, and submitting the application and self-study, and exploring the accreditation criteria in detail. Participants will learn about accreditation terminology and work with their peers to develop portions of an educational activity. Ample opportunities will be provided to network, ask questions, and build both competence and confidence in the application process.
6 contact hours will be awarded.

This full-day (10 am – 4:30 pm) interactive workshop provides an opportunity for ANCC Accredited Providers to build knowledge and skills in the operation of their accredited provider units. Participants will engage in small-group dialogue about best practices, sharing with and learning from colleagues around the country and the world. Emphasis will be placed on performance in practice and how to ensure educational activity documentation reflects the educational design process. All Accredited Providers are encouraged to attend and share!
