Today, the voting representatives of the American Nurses Association (ANA) Membership Assembly elected leaders to serve on the board of directors and nominations and elections committee.

The American Nurses Association’s (ANA) Center For Ethics and Human Rights  empowers and guides nurses in the position statement, “The Nurse’s Role & Responsibility in Unveiling and Dismantling Racism in Nursing”. 

Nearly 400 nurses from across the country gathered June 15 in Washington, D.C. for ANA Hill Day.

ANA, along with our partner organizations strongly support the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (ICAN) Act (H.R. 2713).

The Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the U.S. Senate. This legislation would curb rising rates of on-the-job assaults against nurses and others health care professionals.

This ruling is yet another threat to basic reproductive health and human rights.
