Sherrie Palmieri joined Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in 2013 as an adjunct instructor, course developer and subject matter expert for the MSN Quality and Patient Safety program. In 2014 she transitioned to serve as the chief nurse administrator for Nursing and Health Professions at SNHU. To support her passion for nursing education and patient safety and quality, Dr. Palmieri maintains certification as a Certified Nurse Educator and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
Throughout her career, Dr. Palmieri has co-authored several grants and proposals and was a featured speaker at Southern New Hampshire Consortium for Nursing Excellence and New Hampshire Association of Healthcare Quality conferences. She most recently worked with the American Nurses’ Association (ANA) serving as the co-author and subject matter expert to develop the Gerontological Nurse Certification Review Course.
Dr. Palmieri holds memberships in several nursing and healthcare organizations and serves on the Commission on Government Affairs for New Hampshire Nurses’ Association (NHNA), serves as a board member on the New Hampshire Board of Nursing as well as serving as the state co-lead for the New Hampshire Action Coalition. Dr. Palmieri was elected to the Organization of Nurse Leaders Board of Directors in 2016 and she also serves as a Program Evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Dr. Palmieri is committed to serving in roles that advance nursing, foster academic and practice partnerships, and promote seamless academic progression pathways.
Patricia Tabloski
PhD, GNP-BC, RN-BC,FGSA, FAAN
Dr.Tabloski has committed her career to the teaching, practice, and study of gerontological nursing. She has maintained clinical practice as an advanced practice gerontological nurse in collaboration with two physician colleagues and a multidisciplinary team for over 20 years. She has three degrees in nursing, including a BSN from Purdue University, an MSN from Seton Hall University, and a PhD in nursing from the University of Rochester. Tabloski is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America. She has authored a book on Gerontological Nursing.
