American Nurses Enterprise Hosts Inaugural Celebration Dinner During 2025 Magnet & Pathway Conference™
Event honors national leaders, announces new NurseHub scholarship, and celebrates $52.6 million invested to strengthen nurses, well-being, and innovation nationwide
ATLANTA – October 8, 2025 – The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) hosted its inaugural Celebration Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, bringing together more than 230 attendees, including national funding partners, corporate executives, and health system leaders. The event honored extraordinary contributions to advancing nurse well-being, innovation, and the profession’s future while celebrating more than $52.6 million in investments across 136 grants that have directly impacted 3 million nurses nationwide over the course of the last 5 years.
The evening also marked the announcement of a new scholarship fund for nursing students facing financial hardship, generously gifted by NurseHub, a company dedicated to supporting nursing students through AI-powered learning, courses, and exam preparation. Serving more than 100,000 nursing students annually, NurseHub’s mission is to help end America’s nursing shortage by shoring up the pipeline of future nurses with vital resources and financial support.
“ANF is especially thankful for NurseHub’s generous gift to finance nursing education for those who lack access to needed resources,” said Graig R. Eastin, Executive Director of the American Nurses Foundation. “This scholarship fund is timely and necessary to ensure the growth and enduring success of the nursing profession.”
Angela Beddoe, Chief Executive Officer of the American Nurses Enterprise, added, “The Celebration Dinner embodies the power of collective impact. When philanthropy, community, innovation, and nursing leadership come together, we can truly transform healthcare and ensure nurses have the support they need to thrive. This is just the beginning of a tradition that will continue to elevate the nursing profession for years to come.”
The program also recognized three outstanding honorees whose partnerships exemplify national leadership in philanthropy and innovation:
- Community Impact Honoree: National CARES Mentoring Movement – for its transformative affiliate network providing healing, connection, and workforce development opportunities to underserved youth across 58 U.S. communities.
- Foundation Impact Honoree: The United Health Foundation – for its longstanding partnership with ANF, including a $3.1 million investment in peer and leadership support for nurse well-being, COVID-19 response funding, and new scholarships for nursing students. The United Health Foundation was established by UnitedHealth Group in 1999 as a nonprofit, private foundation dedicated to improving health and health care.
- Corporate Impact Honoree: Kaiser Permanente – for its pioneering collaboration on the Reimagining Nursing Initiative, the largest and most ambitious effort in ANF’s history, with 44 nurse-led pilots now active in 41 states.
In addition, Danielle Altares Sarik, PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC, FAAN, was recognized with the 2025 Jeannine Rivet Award, which honors outstanding nurse leaders shaping the future of health care.
