American Nurses Association Joins HBO to Honor Nurses and Healthcare Workers in Los Angeles

Celebrations at Cedars-Sinai and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center mark the upcoming season two premiere of The Pitt

LOS ANGELES, CA – This week, the American Nurses Association (ANA) was honored to work alongside HBO in Los Angeles to celebrate nurses and healthcare workers in conjunction with the Season 2 premiere of The Pitt on HBO Max.

The Pitt continues to highlight the realities of modern healthcare while bringing national attention to the people who make patient care possible.

As part of the celebration, ANA and HBO hosted breakfast appreciation events for nurses and healthcare workers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The breakfast appreciation events also included special gifts as a gesture of gratitude for the essential role healthcare professionals play in caring for patients and communities.

“Nurses and healthcare workers are the backbone of our health system, showing up day after day with skill, courage, and heart,” said Angela Beddoe, Chief Executive Officer of the American Nurses Enterprise. “We were honored to work with HBO to celebrate the professionals whose experiences inspire the stories audiences see on screen and whose impact is felt in communities across the country.”

The appreciation events underscored a shared commitment to honoring the nursing profession and elevating the voices and experiences of those on the front lines of care.
