2020 National Nurses Month Webinar: Magnify Your Voice—Use Storytelling to Advance Nursing (Free Webinar)
Learn how you can tell your story to help others develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of what nurses do. You make a difference!
The story of your nursing journey is an essential part of who you are and speaks to your capabilities as a healthcare professional. But when was the last time you told your story? Join Carolyn Jones, noted master storyteller and photographic ethnographer, as she celebrates nurses and shares techniques on how to share your story. During this 60-minute webinar, you will discover how to construct a narrative that:
- Communicates the motivations that led you to become and stay a nurse
- Connects the impact and value your nursing practice has on your patients, colleagues, and community
- Shares how you overcome the challenges nurses face everyday
You can then use these techniques in a variety of settings such as onboarding a new colleague onto your unit, developing your annual performance review, or explaining the contributions of your work as a nurse in healthcare.
When more of us tell our stories, we work together to raise the awareness and value of nurses everywhere. You make a difference!
