ANCC Appoints New Commissioners to the Commission on Board Certification

SILVER SPRING, MD –The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recently announced the following appointments to its Commission on Board Certification (COC). COC members are selected by an Appointments Committee, composed of Content Expert Panel Chairpersons, and are tasked with governing ANCC Certification credentialing programs and activities. Terms are effective as of January 1, 2024 and will run through December 31, 2027.

COC Members Appointed for Initial Four-Year Term of Service:

  • Jennifer Lombardi, MBA, BSN, RN, NE-BC, representing as a current or immediate past Content Expert Panelist volunteer;
  • Fiona Okoroti, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, representing as a current or immediate past Content Expert Panelist volunteer;
  • Jouhayna (“Johanna”) Bajjani-Gebara, PhD, PMHNP-BC, PMHCNS-BC, representing as an ANCC certified nurse-at-large;
  • Tushara (“Shara”) Rhodes, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, NPD-BC, MEDSURG-BC, NPDA-BC, representing as an ANCC certified nurse-at-large;
  • Rachel Ratchford, representing as a non-nurse/public member; and
  • Jill Haug, PharmD, MBA, representing as a non-nurse/public member.

COC Members Appointed for Second Four-Year Term of Service:

  • Julie Marfell, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, representing as an ANCC certified nurse-at-large.
