The ANA Innovation Accelerator
Join the ANA Innovation Accelerator! This free six-month Accelerator invites nurses and nursing students to explore content areas focused on developing you and your ideas!
The ANA Innovation Accelerator offers a community of resources and support for nurses and nursing students interested in creating positive change in healthcare through innovative practices. This free six-month Accelerator invites participants to explore content areas focused on human-centered design, business models, entrepreneurship/intrapreneurship, intellectual property, and leadership.

Criteria
Open to nurses who have participated in ANA Innovation initiatives (e.g., NursePitch (TM) and/or the Innovation Awards). Invites and applications will be sent directly to these individuals. As participants build their innovation network and progress through learning modules, they will complete required learning assignments to aid in their design of an individual innovation project.
- Six-month accelerator - participation across all six months is required
- Estimated time commitment per month is 5-7 hours
- Accelerator participants will be supporting innovation research
The Accelerator will conclude with an innovation project pitch. We are excited to support your interest in nurse-led innovation and look forward to collaborating with you. The Accelerator application is open now.

Prelicensure Nursing Students
The Accelerator will position nursing students as emerging leaders in innovation practice and foster the skills and abilities necessary to successfully role model nurse-led innovation as they move into the future. *Note - select seats for this category. Nursing student applicants must be enrolled in a pre-licensure program at the time of application.
Nurses of Color
The Accelerator will position nurses of color for broader opportunities across the nursing profession. Nurses already interested in innovation and leading innovative work can advance their ideas and amplify their work across larger platforms. *Note - select seats for this category.
Nursing Educators (Faculty, Clinical Educator, CNS, Professional Development)
The Accelerator will position nursing educators to expand innovative content for nurses and nursing students. Educators participating in this space can explore innovation content to support emerging needs across nursing education. *Note - select seats for this category.
ANA Innovation Community Members
The Accelerator will expand resources and education to supplement your innovation journey and participation in the ANA Innovation Community. *Note - select seats for this category.
ANA Innovation Incubator
The Accelerator is also open to ANA Incubator participants by invitation.
