Statement of the ANA Position
ANA believes sexually transmitted diseases are a major health problem in the United States. ANA supports condom advertising in the mass media as a means to prevent and control the spread of STDs. Further, ANA continues to work with the U.S. Public Health Service and other groups to educate the public on preventive measures.
