ANA partnered with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) to bring you this program. Presented by a nurse researcher who focuses on infectious disease and emergency preparedness, content covers how to implement critical infection control standards to minimize spread and maintain healthcare worker protection and best practices for optimal protection while maximizing a limited supply of PPE during this time of patient surge. ANA partnered with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) to present key skills needed when caring for a seriously ill COVID-19 patient on a ventilator. Taught by a highly experienced critical care nurse specialist and educator, content is presented in an easy-to-understand – and use -- manner.
