Become a Subject Matter Expert

The ANA Enterprise continues to make huge steps to advance nursing, and improve health and health care for all, through the passion and commitment of registered nurses.

To support our activities, we need your help. Join the hundreds of dedicated nurses who volunteer with the entities of the ANA Enterprise, and use their valuable time to transform lives.

Make a difference

Volunteers can choose a cause close to their heart, use their expertise, and gain tangible benefits from the experience. By taking on a voluntary role with the American Nurses Association (ANA), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Nurses Foundation, you can:

  • Play a dynamic role in the development of your field of expertise;
  • Enhance your curriculum vitae;
  • Collaborate with health care colleagues nationwide;
  • Earn a reduction in the number of contact hours required to renew ANCC certification; and
  • Become known as a nursing leader who shapes the future of all healthcare practitioners.

Below, you will find a list of all the volunteering opportunities that periodically become available at the ANA Enterprise. If you’re interested, and believe you might fit the bill, get in touch with one of the contacts below and embark on an exciting journey with us.
