Garrett Chan, PhD, APRN, FAEN, FPCN, FNAP, FAAN
Dr. Garrett Chan is the Director of the Center for Education and Professional Development at Stanford Health Care, Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at Stanford University, and Associate Adjunct Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also the Director of the Palliative Care Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nursing Science at Stanford University. Dr. Chan serves as the Co-Chair of the HealthImpact/California Action Coalition Task Force to remove scope of practice barriers for nurses in California. He has published widely in emergency and palliative nursing journals and textbooks.
