Leadership Acumen: Personal Leadership

Capella University Capella University

Learn strategies to enhance your professional value while aligning with the needs of a rapidly changing organization.

Personal leadership is a methodology that describes the process of becoming aware of your beliefs, values, emotions, judgments, and reactions to differences, and then utilizing that awareness to create value within your community, profession, and organization. The methodology is designed to accompany and complement your organizational leadership, helping you assess ambiguous situations, face decision points, and resolve conflict. This on-demand seminar will teach you how to practice and apply those skills in whatever your position is in your profession.

Key Learning Outcomes

  • Define the personal leadership methodology.
  • Describe what practicing personal leadership means.
  • Analyze the leadership and behaviors of a character in a personal leadership case study.
  • Apply personal leadership principles and practices to the case study.
