Overview
This workshop will help you prepare for the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) board certification exam.
You have at least 2,000 dedicated hours of clinical practice in psychiatric–mental health nursing and 30 hours of continuing nursing education. Now you need the tools to prepare for the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) exam. The American Nurses Association's Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) Interactive Review Course Workshop provides comprehensive and up-to-date information relevant to current practice and review materials to prepare for the ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing board certification exam.
The blended format of this workshop engages you at your pace, on your timeframe; while immersing you in content and activities designed to reinforce knowledge and concepts necessary to successfully prepare for the certification examination. Application of knowledge occurs throughout the course and interaction with the presenter during the live sessions permits you and your fellow participants opportunity to ask questions, validate understanding, and gain greater awareness of gaps requiring further study.

Hutchinson is certified by the ANCC board as a psychiatric-mental health nurse. Hutchinson is also a certified addictions registered nurse focusing on tobacco cessation, general addiction/substance-abusing populations, developmentally disabled adults and mentally impaired persons across the life span. Hutchinson is a former university educator in undergraduate and graduate nursing and allied health programs.
