The course content aligns with the ANCC exam content outline.

Patti Parker, PhD, CNS, ANP-BC, GNP-BC, RN-BC
Parker has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years. Her clinical background and master's degree are in adult medical-surgical nursing. She has done post-master's-degree work as an adult and geriatric nurse practitioner and doctoral work in the field of gerontology with a research focus on diabetes education in the older adult.Parker has been with the nursing faculty in the University of Texas system since the summer of 1994, and is faculty at the University of Texas Arlington in the Graduate College of Nursing, Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program.
Paula Harrison Gillman, MSN, A/GNP-BC, RN-C
Gillman has 31 years of patient care experience and over 27 years of education experience. She is Master's prepared as a Medical-Surgical clinical nurse specialist, as well as an adult and gerontological nurse practitioner. She co-authored the review and resource manual for Gerontological Nursing and is a contributing author to the Medical-Surgical Nursing Review and Resource Manual. Gillman has presented numerous review coursed to medical-surgical and gerontological nurses as well as gerontological nurse practitioners.
