Secure Live Remote Proctoring
Candidates receiving an authorization to test (ATT) have the option to test in a secure Prometric test center via secure Prometric live remote proctoring in their home. Due to the system requirements for secure live remote proctoring and the specific design of the ANCC tests, all candidates may not be able to use secure live remote proctoring. To determine if live remote proctoring is an option you can consider, you must read the Prometric Welcome to ProProctor User Guide. This guide provides information on technical requirements, check in process, rules for testing in a secure live remote proctoring environment and other key information. To assist you in choosing to test at a Prometric Testing Center or via Live Remote Proctoring, please review this information: https://www.nursingworld.org/~4a5491/globalassets/docs/ancc/considerations-for--choosing-a-testing-option.pdf
ANCC recommends that APRN candidates test at a Prometric Test Center, as state licensure is dependent on APRN exam results. Delays in retesting, due to Live Remote Proctoring connectivity issues, may result in delayed entry to APRN practice.
Minimum System Requirements are Windows version 7 or higher or MacOS High Sierra version 10.13 or higher. For complete details on specific requirements for participating in Live Remote Proctoring (LRP), please review the Prometric ProProctor User Guide at this link: https://www.prometric.com/sites/default/files/2020-04/PrometricProUserGuide_3.1_1.pdf
