Dr. Dickey is an author, researcher and faculty member in a setting that serves a diverse urban community in Philadelphia. She has many years of neonatal and pediatric nursing experience, including normal and high risk neonates, acute tertiary and quaternary pediatric patients, and pediatric home care patients. She teaches neonatal and pediatric nursing and health policy at Temple University. Her areas of special interest include neonatal and pediatric nursing; health policy, ethicolegal aspects of adolescent health care; adolescent competency to make informed health care decisions; genetics and assisted reproductive techniques (ART).
