Vendor Application Process

Interested Vendors are invited to have their software packages evaluated and acknowledged by NIDSECSM. The fee for processing and evaluating applications is $20,000. The process begins with the purchase of an application packet that supplies essential information for completing the application:

The Application packets are priced at $100 and can be obtained by sending a check payable to the American Nurses Association to:

Upon completion of all required forms and attachments, please mail one original and 5 copies of the application package with a check payable to the American Nurses Association for $20,000 to:

Review Process

Reviews are based solely upon the documentation provided. Each vendor must sign an attestation form affirming that all answers given and all materials provided are true and correct and represent accurately the product being reviewed. Submitting an application does not ensure recognition of your application.

Twice each year, depending upon the application cycle and number of applications submitted, a review panel consisting of 5 members will convene, examine the applications, reach a consensus for each product examined and submit its recommendation to the NIDSECSM Committee. The NIDSECSM Committee will make the final decision and the candidate will be notified. A summary of the review findings will be provided to each candidate.
