ANA's State Government Affairs program monitors over 1,000 nursing and health care related bills introduced in state legislatures across the country. When learning of legislative or regulatory trends of concern to the membership, staff investigates and provides resources to either advance or assist in limiting advancement of an issue. Support may consist of research, model legislation, model testimony and talking points.
