Learn from the experts!  For the first time – all in one location – nationally recognized quality experts, nurse leaders at NDNQI member hospitals, and NDNQI senior staff will be on hand to help you foster change in your environment.  Only open to NDNQI members, this opportunity will reinvigorate and expose you to new ways of thinking and driving change.  

This full-day session provides a pivotal opportunity for CNOs, staff nurses, professional practice directors, and NDNQI site coordinators to position your quality program for even greater success.  You will not just listen and learn but engage in quality improvement strategies to foster change in your environment.

Trends – What is Trending and What Does it Mean to Your Hospital
Do you want to know what the trends are and get a look into the future of nursing performance metrics?  The opening session will report on what is trending in NDNQI performance, the latest progress hospitals are making in quality and patient care, a new and critical look at the performance improvement framework model, and what it all means to you.

Magnet Standards: Achieving the Pinnacle of Excellence
The 2014 Magnet® standards are hot off the press with changes that will impact your reporting.  What are those standards?  How do you have to change to meet the new requirements?  Hear from the experts on the requirements related to the revised Magnet® standards.  Come away with clarity and a plan on how to best navigate these changes.

Partner with your Peers:  Real World Conversation on Role-Based Challenges and Strategies
How often do you get the opportunity to engage with a community of thought leaders and examine opportunities and challenges in driving progress?  Whether you are a CNO, director of practice, clinical or staff nurse, these breakout sessions will expose you to new ways of thinking about the issues that affect you most; managing multiple data requirements, interpreting data to improve practice and patient outcomes, and advancing quality initiatives with limited resources.

Hospital Showcase – The Nuts and Bolts of Success
How do you maximize the new NDNQI Quality Intelligence Dashboard reporting?  Hear real world examples of how to efficiently harness the expanded capabilities of the dashboard to improve your results.  Engage with your colleagues as they share their secrets to using the reporting tool, what successes they have seen, the nuts and bolts of how to get the most out of the system, and common questions and scenarios faced.

Are you seeking to identify and implement innovative strategies to address quality improvement challenges in specialty practice areas?  Tackle the difficult issues that impact nursing quality using the specialty practice lens and come away with new ideas that reinvigorate your colleagues. Strategic conversations will focus on pediatrics, perinatal & women’s services, ambulatory, perioperative, emergency services, rehabilitation, psychiatric, medical /surgical, critical care, and step down areas of practice.
