Learn from the experts!  Nationally recognized quality experts and nurse leaders at NDNQI® member hospitals share their strategies and leading practices to help you leverage nursing sensitive indicators.  This new user forum is a unique opportunity for NDNQI® member hospitals to address challenges and share successes in using performance improvement data to address quality initiatives by role and in specialty areas.  

This full-day session has been specially designed to address the needs of CNOs, staff nurses, Professional Practice Directors, and NDNQI® site coordinators.  Topics will be presented interactively by using real-world examples and focus on providing strategies to more effectively address budget cuts, improve nursing practice and patient outcomes.  Tools will be shared to effectively manage multiple data requests. Participants will walk away with ideas and strategies that can be easily implemented.

Forum Kick-off
The opening session will set the stage and give all attendees an important update as to the recent trending in NDNQI® performance, report on the latest progress hospitals are making in quality and patient care impact and re-evaluate the performance improvement framework model.

Magnet Standards: Achieving the Pinnacle of Excellence
This session will focus on data requirements related to the revised Magnet standards.

 
10:15 - 11:15 am

Concurrent Breakout Sessions by Role
Designed especially for CNOs, staff nurses, and NDNQI® site coordinators, participants will engage in real-world scenario problem-solving and identify strategies to more effectively address budget cuts, improve nursing practice and patient outcomes, and effectively manage multiple data requests.

Discuss how to best analyze and maximize the results from the new Quality Intelligence dashboard and how to take reporting to the next level to attain quality improvement successes.
