I was delighted that you took the time to respond to the article. As you have so eloquently pointed out, every nurse is a leader. It is both a professional responsibility and a key to building a healthy work environment at the unit level. You clearly have this leadership mindset. As I read your letter, I could not help thinking that the future of nursing will be in good hands with professionals like you as our next generation of nurse leaders.
