Letter to the Editor on "Who Does What in Health Care?"

February 1, 1999
in response to Who Does What in Health Care?

Dear Editor:

I am a Rehabilitation Nurse. I have been a practicing RN for 23 years, and like all nurses have seen many changes. My most recent change occurred this past July. I was a Nurse Manager for two large Rehabilitation Units. Now I am the Program Coordinator for Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke/Neurological Rehabilitation Services. I am responsible for the Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Recreational Therapy personnel. This has been a big change. I would appreciate hearing from anyone in a similar position who has experienced these changes, who now supervise a variety of healthcare personnel, and who is willing to share their knowledge or experience with me. Please e-mail me at TE522@aol.com. Thank you.

Eileen Piekarski, RN, BSN, CRRN
Program Coordinator
