The American Nurses Association would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the June 2011 'Have Your Say' online poll. The poll asked respondents how far they would relocate for a new nursing job.

According to the results, 26% of the respondents said they would relocate if the job is under 100 miles away, while 38% said they would relocate if the job is more than 300 miles away. About 29% reported saying that relocation is not an option at all. The results are based on 561 online responses.

To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at the bottom of the left margin. Polls are posted on a monthly basis, with results from the previous poll made available on the Nursing Insider and the poll results archives.

"Have Your Say" polls are snapshots taken during a brief period of time that reflect the views of users who choose to share their opinions on a variety of issues. The polls are not designed or intended to reflect a statistically valid representation of the population and should not be used as such. Data used to report the results were based on responses submitted between June 1 and June 30, 2011.
