On Wed., May 29, ANA urged the California Supreme Court to uphold earlier rulings requiring licensed professionals to administer insulin in schools to protect the standard of care for children who are entitled to receive health care services at school. The case has national implications for chronic disease management and nursing practice. A decision is expected within the next few months.
