ANA Attends the International Council of Nurses 2013 Quadrennial Congress

A delegation from ANA is attending the International Council of Nurses (ICN) 25 th Quadrennial Congress in Melbourne, Australia this week, grappling with worldwide professional nursing issues related to the theme, “Equity and Access to Health Care.” ANA is a member of the ICN Council of National Representatives (CNR). The CNR is the governing body of ICN. The conference is focusing on gender equity in health care, curtailing the prevalence of non-communicable diseases, and balancing the roles of individuals and society in maintaining health.
