The American Nurses Association (ANA) has for many years had a category of membership for nursing organizations called Organizational Affiliates (OAs). Working together, ANA and these 30 organizational affiliates seek to share information and collaborate in finding solutions to issues that face the nursing profession, regardless of specialty.
Additionally, ANA also offers OAs the opportunity to create stronger synergy by purchasing discounted e-memberships for their individual members. Just recently, ANA established the name of Organizational Affiliate Premier for this enhanced relationship.
ANA is pleased to announce that the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), a long-time OA, has upgraded to Organizational Affiliate Premier status. It joins the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), which has participated at this level of enhanced relationship for the past five years.
