ANA urges leaders to address unresolved issues with fairness and comprehensive solutions
The American Nurses Association (ANA) today issued a statement attributable to ANA President Karen A. Daley, PhD, RN, FAAN:
“On behalf of our members and all hard-working, middle-class Americans, we are pleased to see the White House and Congress forge a compromise to avert the immediate fiscal cliff crisis. In particular, we are grateful that middle-class families will be spared dramatic tax increases.
This is an important step forward. We urge elected officials to address the many unresolved fiscal issues with a sense of bipartisanship, fairness, and urgency."
