Immunity Award recipient, Denice Abbot, RN. Ms. Abbot earned the ANA Immunity
Award for July 2011 for her perseverance in ensuring that high-risk clients,
including the homeless and those with substance abuse issues, are properly
vaccinated against hepatitis as part of an Ohio state initiative.
This
twitter chat is FREE to members and non-members and will feature a brief interview followed by a Q&A session, where

ANA is now accepting nominations for the
Spring 2012 ANA Immunity Award. The ANA Immunity Award
recognizes nurses who have become champions of immunizations by demonstrating a
high level competency in their nursing role as immunization advocate, educator,
and leader. Two recipients will be selected. The winners will receive a trophy,
an ANA Immunization Champion lapel pin, and will be featured on the ANA
immunization website, www.anaimmunize.org.
Entry deadline for the Spring 2012 ANA Immunity Award is March 23,
2012.
