New Informatics and Legislative Columns have been posted in OJIN: The Online Journal of Issues in Nursing.
The legislative column by Denise Gormley and Greer Glazer is on a very current topic, “Nursing Distance Learning Programs and State Board of
Nursing Authorizations.” In this column, the authors review regulations and subsequent actions related
to state authorization of distance education programs, or programs that reside
in one state but offer enrollment to students in another state.
In the new informatics column authors Patricia M. Schwiran and Linda Q. Thede have published "The Standardized Nursing Terminologies: A National Survey of Nurses’ Experience and Attitudes - SURVEY II: Participants, Familiarity and Information Sources ."
