ANA’s Chief Nursing Officer Amy Garcia, MSN, RN, CAE, is one of the featured guests on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) podcast
Tracks: Nurses and the Tracking Network
The CDC’s new Tracking Network is a dynamic Web-based tool that provides health and environmental data in one easy to find location. Nurses now have access to more and better scientific data about health conditions related to the environment.
During the four-minute podcast, Garcia, along with Kitty Mahoney, president of the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses, describes why the Tracking Network is a useful tool for nurses in all areas of practice and how the Tracking Network can make nurses’ jobs easier.
