The American Nurses Association (ANA) has appointed Charles J. Barnett, FACHE — president of health care operations and chief operating officer of Ascension Health, a national healthcare system with leadership offices in St. Louis, MO — to the Board of Directors of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the world’s largest nurse credentialing organization and a subsidiary of ANA.
