The 2012 ANCC National Magnet Conference® is October 10-12, 2012 in Los Angeles, California
The Goal of the 2012 Magnet conference is to provide the opportunity for attendees to enhance nursing professional practice in order to positively impact patient outcomes. This will be accomplished through structured education and informal networking events focusing on the needs of the adult learner and the use of the Magnet Model as a framework of excellence in care delivery.
The Learning Objectives for the conference are:
After participating in the education activities of the 2012 ANCC National Magnet Conference the learner will be able to:
- Describe best practices based in science and innovations that may contribute to their own professional practice and to positive patient outcomes.
- Discriminate nursing’s role in the changing healthcare delivery system as it relates to the interdisciplinary team and excellence in care delivery across the continuum of health.
- Identify the leadership requisites from bedside to boardroom that transform the practice environment’s quality and momentum in achieving positive patient outcomes.
- Evaluate strategies that maximize the potential of clinical nursing practice related to the Magnet Model.
