Greetings! National Nurses Week is celebrated each year beginning on
May 6th and ending on
May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. The purpose of the week is to recognize the contributions of the nation’s registered nurses and to educate the public about the role we play in meeting the diverse health care needs of the American people.
This year, the American Nurses Association (ANA), with its constituent and state nurses associations, salute the nation’s 3.1 million nurses with the theme Nurses Trusted to Care.
