On November 6, 2010, we marked the anniversary of the Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act. Significant progress has been made in reducing blood-borne pathogen injuries. This 60 minute webinar provides an overview of sharps injuries at this time, including data collection by University of Virginia’s Exposure Prevention Information Network (EPINet™*) and addressing sharps safety in the perioperative area.
