The American Nurses Association's (ANA) Congress on Nursing Practice and Economics (CNPE) is seeking public comment on the position statement “Nurses’ Involvement with the EHR: Advocating Patient Safety” which states:
"It is the position of the ANA that patient safety requires that nurses must be deeply involved throughout the EHR [electronic health record] lifecycle."
