Two new articles have been posted on previously published topics in OJIN: The Online Journal of Issues in Nursing, the online journal of the American Nurses Association.
Iranian Nurses´ Perception of Their Professional Growth and Development, by Flora Rahimaghaee, MSc, RN; Dehghan Nayeri, PhD, RN; and Eesa Mohammadi, PhD, RN, presents a qualitative in which 21 Iranian nurses shared perceptions of their professional development and growth.
Using the AACN Framework to Alleviate Moral Distress by Carole McCue, MS, RN, CNE, presents a situation in which a nurse executive’s and a CEO’s values were in direct opposition. The article explains how the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses’ Framework (4 A’s to Rise Above Moral Distress) was used as a resource to guide the situation to a productive conclusion.
