Nurses have an ethical obligation to protect themselves and their patients from influenza illness. One of the easiest ways to do this is by getting a flu shot, yet fewer than 50% of healthcare providers get vaccinated. The American Nurses Association urges nurses to lead the way to increasing this vaccination rate. Please get vaccinated!
