Every day, the American Nurses Association's ( ANA) Communications Department proactively seeks media opportunities and responds to media calls from reporters all over the U.S. who want to interview nurses on important health care issues. Because of this demand, ANA is creating a “Media Speakers Program,” which will be a database of nurse experts who are ready to share their knowledge and speak out about issues that are important to nursing.
The only requirement is that you be an active member of ANA. The program includes a database of nurse experts who are ready to share their knowledge and speak out about issues that are important to nursing.
To join the program as a speaker, fill out the Media Speaker’s Questionnaire below. (The form is an interactive pdf form and requires Adobe 7.0 or above. Save the form to your hard drive, then fill out, save and send as an e-mail attachment.) ANA will then send you further information on how to prepare for media interviews, and members of ANA’s Communications Department will contact you directly to answer any questions you may have.
For more information about joining ANA’s Media Speakers Program, please contact Stacy Prince, ANA senior public relations specialist, at (301) 628-5038 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
