Three books published by the American Nurses Association (ANA) have received 2008 Publications Awards from the Washington, DC, Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC):
- Nursing Informatics: Scope & Standards of Practice received an Award of Merit
- Guide to the Code of Ethics for Nurses: Interpretation and Application received an Award of Merit
- Nursing and Health Care Ethics: A Legacy and A Vision received an Award of Excellence
