Representatives Lois Capps, RN (D-CA) and Steven LaTourette (R-OH) have circulated a letter soliciting support for $200 million in fiscal year (FY) 2009 funding for nursing workforce development programs. If nurses can encourage a large number of Representatives to sign onto the Capps/LaTourette letter, we will be more likely to receive this funding!
The Deadline for Members to sign onto the Capps/LaTourette letter is Friday, March 14.
