The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has announced that the "Draft"
2009 Accreditation Manual is now available to be downloaded on their
website. [pdf]
Please review the draft manual and provide your written comments/feedback to MaryMoon Allison, Director Accreditation Program by September 5, 2008. You may also attend the Public Comments Meeting on September 19th at 9am - noon. For further information go to the ANCC website.
While at their website please check-out their Workshop for Accredited Organizations on September 20th, 2008 at 8:00 am. Dr. John Whyte, Vice President, Continuing Education at DiscoveryHealth® will be our guest speaker.

For your professional development they are offering a Free Communities of Practice Workshop. They are making this workshop available for those in the Continuing Nursing Field to provide an opportunity for networking, sharing best practice, etc.
