Direct Individual Member

In some states, RNs are permitted to join ANA directly. Direct ANA individual members receive full member benefits at the national level but not benefits at the state level. Direct ANA individual members support and have a chance to influence the decisions made at the national level that affect the practice of nursing and the health of our patients and our communities. Currently individuals who live or practice in the following states can join under this category: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming.
