As stewards for the membership, ANA leaders strategically advance the nursing profession by anticipating and identifying change drivers; listening and responding to members; and forming alliances with affiliate organizations.

ANA’s leadership is comprised of the House of Delegates, Board of Directors, Constituent Assembly, and the Congress on Nursing Practice and Economics. In addition, ANA leaders engage with the American Nurses Foundation, American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Academy of Nursing, and the ANA Political Action Committee as it strives to adhere to its’ mission: Nurses advancing our profession to improve health for all.
