The House of Delegates (HOD) is the official governing and voting body of ANA. The HOD provides stewardship for the profession through the creation of policy and positions that support the purposes of ANA. When a hot topic arises or there are various views and opinions about current events, the House of Delegates may address these concerns by way of a resolution.
The HOD is comprised of delegates duly elected by constituent and state nurses associations and the ANA-Only membership Division.
