The Center for Ethics

Nurses can face complex and changing ethical issues, so ANA established the Center for Ethics and Human Rights to help guide you. Through the Code of Ethics for Nurses, position statements, research, education, and consultations, the Center works to increase the ethical knowledge of nurses and healthcare facilities in such things as patient rights, end of life issues, bioethics, and other areas.
